The Hattiesburg Police Department will conduct its second Active Shooter seminar and training session at the Hattiesburg Police & Fire Training Academy at 53 Academy Drive - Hattiesburg, MS 39401 on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. This one day course will begin at 8:00am to 5:00pm and is designed to present proactive survival strategies for violent intruder or active shooter incidents. The purpose of the seminar is to provide all area businesses, corporations, industries, schools and hospitals with enhanced survival options for those critical moments between the on-set of a violent situation and when law enforcement arrives on scene.
There is No cost to attend the seminar & training session.
The Hattiesburg Police Department is a progressive and proactive department that prides itself in quality service to the community. Hosting and conducting programs/seminars to aid in educating its officers as well as the citizenry in and around the city is just part of what HPD believes in.
