Civil War 150 Lecture Series - 'Rumors of War: Slave Insurrections in Civil War'

The University Libraries at the University of Southern Mississippi will sponsor the third of five talks relating to the American Civil War on Monday, September 16,2013 from 6pm to
7pm at the Cook Library Art Gallery.

Dr. Max Grivno, associate professor in the History Department, will present, 'Rumors of War: Slave Insurrections in Civil War Mississippi'.

The lectures are made possible by a grant from the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, The Library of America, and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
