The DuBard Symposium: Dyslexia and Related Disorders, is an opportunity for professionals and parents alike to delve deeper into fully understanding the complicated written language disorder of dyslexia. This year's Symposium offers an array of sessions, including a Parent Track and a Professional Track of courses on the second day.
Keynote speakers include Dr. David Chard of Southern Methodist University and Dr. Julie Masterson of Missouri State University. Sessions throughout the two-day event include topics such as iPads for individuals with disabilities, understanding a dyslexia assessment, a dyslexia simulation, dyslexia updates in Mississippi, and managing stress, to name a few.
