A Collaborative Innovation Exchange

The University of Southern Mississippi's College of Nursing and Health Professions invites you to attend A Collaborative Innovation Exchange, a half-day event focused on collaboration, innovation, and advancing translational health sciences. 

The program will feature the Cadenhead Lecture by Jessica Patience Castner, PhD, RN, FAEN, of Duke University. Dr. Castner is a nationally recognized scholar whose work emphasizes health systems, emergency care, and interdisciplinary  approaches to improving outcomes. Her lecture will offer valuable perspectives relevant to teaching, research, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. 

The event will take place at the Trent Lott National Center on February 12, 2026 with agenda details available through the registration link below. Faculty are encouraged to attend and engage in dialogue that supports innovation across nursing and health professions education.
