The Bethesda Project, Inc., is HUD Approved Affiliate member of Mission of Peace CDC -A HUD Approved National Houseing Counseling Intermediary in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Because we are HUD approved we offer a number of services to the community and our services are performed at no cost to the client. Servies offered are: Pre/Post Purchase Home Purchase Counseling, Budget Counseling, Foreclosure Counseling, Assistance with Rental Issues, Banking Basic, Homebuyer Education Sessions, Predatory Lending and Life Skills. We are currently establishing partnership with other are resources to assist our communities in achieving a greater sense of financial stability. Our services do not have any income stipulations, only that there is a need for the service itself. We have established The Bethesda Project, Inc., in the hear ot the communities by holding Homebuyer Workshops throughout the state of Mississippi, attending fairs, reunions, parties, organizational meetings, etc. to meet new people in need of our services. Our foreclosure business is unfortunately reaching great heights as our economy struggles to remain in a home that is possible going to be foreclosed, experiencing a high interest rates, have adjustable rate, and even clients who are not currently behind with their mortgage. While there are no guarantees, we ahve a staff of six professional certified counselors in our Hattiesburg office and two in our Jackson office dedicated to work diligently to achieve these successes on behalf of our clients.
