WHY ARE WE DOING THIS CONFERENCE?
Event planning consistently ranks near the top of the “Most Stressful” jobs lists. In a post-pandemic world the stress has been amplified and the burnout rate is high.
My mission is to connect the event planning community locally and regionally, sharing information and showcasing resources. This is important so that we can continue to produce the best events possible, while also taking care of ourselves and preventing burnout.
WHO IS BEHIND THIS CONFERENCE?
Hi! I’m Jennifer Clark. I created Emerge Events in 2011 with the first signature event, the Pine Belt Women’s Expo. Since then Emerge Events has created several signature events including the Pine Belt Women Business Owner Summit and this event planning conference. I also collaborate with other businesses and organizations to produce events globally.
I am passionate about fostering industry growth and helping make connections. I want people to leave my events with new information and connections that will make a positive impact on their work and life.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This conference is for anyone involved in the events industry, both paid professionals and volunteers, event planners and suppliers, and those who have information and resources to offer anyone in the events industry. It doesn’t matter what kind of events you are involved in: corporate, weddings, festivals, social, nonprofit, or something else. Gathering our diverse events industry together can benefit all!
