Holiday Open House at Main Street Books

MAIN STREET BOOKS HOSTS GULF COAST ARTIST ELIZABETH HUFFMASTER DURING HATTIESBURG'S HISTORIC DOWNTOWN HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE Held in conjunction with the Hattiesburg Historic Downtown Holiday Open House, Main Street Books cordially invites you to an artist reception for Gulf Coast native and artist Elizabeth Huffmaster, Saturday, November 14, 2009. Dates for the Holiday Open House are Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14 from 10:00 until 6:00pm. Elizabeth will teach an introduction to watercolor class from 9:00 until 12:00 noon with the reception for her beginning at 2:00 and ending at 6:00pm. The class will offer discussion on watercolor technique as well as basic watercolor instruction. Participants will leave with a completed watercolor painting. Cost of the class is $75.00 per person. This includes all materials and a lite lunch. A must see for the holiday season, Elizabeth will introduce her new alphabet. Spell that special someone's name in art for a unique gift. Her use of bold colors and whimsical themes are what make Elizabeth's art a favorite throughout the state. Also, available during the open house will be the newest addition to the Downtown Historic Building Collectables. This year's ornament features The Old Federal Building on the corner of Pine and Front Streets. Built in 1910, the building was the home to Hattiesburg's third US Post Office.
