For the past ten years, Kids Hub has led efforts to spread awareness for child abuse prevention across the counties we serve. Each April, during Child Abuse Prevention Month, we invite businesses and community partners to join us in shining a light on this critical issue and showing the community that protecting children is a shared responsibility.
Pinwheels are the national symbol for child abuse prevention, representing the innocence, joy, and hope of childhood. Throughout the month, Kids Hub staff and partners come together to plant pinwheel gardens across our service area, raising awareness and sparking meaningful conversations about keeping children safe. These colorful displays serve as a visible reminder that prevention starts with all of us.
