Quality of Life Summit

Experience "The Power of a Beautiful Place," the first annual Quality of Life Summit bringing together a roster of dynamic leaders who will provide insight into some of the most visionary and forward-thinking cultural initiatives in the United States all of which have been recognized as major forces in enhancing the quality of life in their cities.

What is the importance of having a highly defined urban gathering place?  Why is it imporant that a community posses one?  Are our streets and highways clean?  Is it important that they are?  Why is architectural design important?  What makes us proud of our communities?  Does our cultural infrastructure leave a positive impact on visitors?

The Area Development Partnership has assembled a group of eight distinguished individuals who will share their insights into the creative forces behind major quality of life initiatives.  Speakers will discuss the visionary individuals who created these projects, explore the benefits and meaning to their cities and communities of these quality of life initiatives, and share how quality of life issues are vital to the growth and progress of our cities and towns today.
