The new 11,200 square foot Hattiesburg Social Security office opened for business on February 9, 2009, at 1911 Broadway Dr.  The new location currently employees 27 full time individuals that provide benefits in excess of $51 million monthly to 56,245 beneficiaries.    Forrest, Lamar, Perry, Greene, Jeff Davis, Covington, Marion and Simpson county residents are serviced by the new Hattiesburg location.  The office phone number is 601 264 7370 and office hours are 8:30-3:30 Monday-Friday.   Visit www.socialsecurity.gov for more information and services.
