The Hattiesburg Saenger Theater is proud to welcome back The World-Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 8 p.m. One of the most iconic and enduring big bands of all time, the Glenn Miller Orchestra continues to bring the legendary “Miller Sound” to audiences across the globe—performing with the same unmistakable energy, precision, and timeless charm that has captivated fans for more than eight decades.
Formed originally in 1938 and revived in 1956 by the Miller Estate following overwhelming public demand, the Glenn Miller Orchestra has remained the most sought-after big band in the world. Under the direction of Erik Stabnau, the 18-member ensemble upholds the rich legacy of Glenn Miller with the original arrangements that defined the Swing Era—beloved classics such as “In the Mood,” “Moonlight Serenade,” “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” “A String of Pearls,” “Tuxedo Junction,” and more. The group travels over 100,000 miles and performs nearly 300 concerts annually, continuing to entertain more than half a million fans each year.
After multiple sellouts at the Saenger, the Glenn Miller Orchestra returns to Hattiesburg as part of its worldwide touring schedule. Audiences of all ages will be treated to an evening of unforgettable nostalgia, musical excellence, and the signature reed section sound that made Glenn Miller an international legend. Featuring talented instrumentalists, vocalists, and the charming harmonies of The Moonlight Serenaders®, the performance promises a faithful yet vibrant continuation of Miller’s unparalleled musical legacy.
