The Nutcracker, based on a fairy tale by Hoffman with Tchaikovsky’s lustrous music and the magnificent choreography of Marius Petipa have combined to make this beloved story a must-see for people of all ages.
World Ballet Series will perform The Nutcracker at Hattiesburg’s Historic Saenger Theater on Tuesday, December 6th
. The show begins at 7:00 p.m. and doors to the Saenger open at 6:00 p.m. Tickets prices range from $35 to $175 plus fees and go on sale Friday, September 23rd

Audience members will step into the whimsical, magical world of one of the most beloved fairy tales. The Nutcracker will be performed by a multinational cast of 50 professional ballet dancers who will bring to life the most beloved holiday traditions. The family-friendly experience features Tchaikovsky’s timeless score, more than 150 hand-sewn costumes, hand-crafted sets and the classic choreography of Marius Peipa.
The fairytale will take observers on a Christmas night adventure with Clara and the Nutcracker to the Land of Sweets. See the iconic Waltz of Flowers, the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and meet Mother Ginger and the Drosselmeyer.
